"Too often today, people are ready to tell us,
'this is not possible; that is not possible'.
I say, whatever the true interest of our country calls for, is always possible!"

Market Drayton West - A Message of Awakening

Activists Just Like You

This afternoon three teams of BNP activists were out and about in Market Drayton West ward distributing a second hard hitting leaflet aimed at awakening our people to the immense threat posed to Britain by the so called 'mainstream' politicians.

The British National Party is not 'mainstream' in the warped eyes of the media but we talk and think like our people because we ARE our people - honest, hardworking, patriotic folk who see things the way they really are.

Britain is broken and is being propped up on a false economy. We are here to promote a message that seems radical to the current crop of self-serving politicians, but to us the message is not really radical at all.

We are prepared to go to great lengths to ensure genuine democracy prevails; we will leaflet relentlessly, we will stand up for the common man, we will endure pressure from the establishment. We will never give in.

The message in our leaflets is getting to work right now; subtly altering the thought process in the minds of our people and gradually guiding them away from the perverse teachings promulgated by a liberal elite who have lived off the British kindred like vampires, bleeding them dry daily and removing sense of their self worth and the ability to self determination.

The BNP is out every day in Market Drayton putting good, wholesome thoughts into the minds of our folk and showing them a 'third way' - not right wing, not left wing - just good, honest policies to rid our nation of the menace which has gripped this country tight for six long decades.

Protest, resist and vote BNP on Thursday 2nd May 2013.

And then join our Movement...

Shropshire County Council Candidates

PHIL REDDALL - MARKET DRAYTON WEST: I’ve lived in Shropshire for the last fifteen years and am married with two children. For the last three years I have been a Parish Councillor, serving my community and playing a key role in initiatives such as the local allotments association.

I joined the BNP ten years ago as I felt let down by all the other political parties. No one else spoke for me - a white working class lad who couldn’t afford to go to university and who couldn’t get an engineering apprenticeship. Nowadays I can’t afford to buy my own home and there aren’t enough council houses to go round. The Conservative Party, the Labour Party and the Lib Dems have all had a chance to fix broken Britain, but things only ever get worse. British people must start thinking about who they vote for. If you keep voting the same way you'll keep getting the same thing!

All I want is a simple family life where my kids are safe to play in the park; I want to see Britain lead the world in manufacturing again; I want out of the EU and I want an end the kind of immigration that has seen British towns and cities transformed beyond recognition.

That’s why I’ll continue to help the British National Party.

JENNIFER MATTHYS - OSWESTRY WEST: I have been married to Angus for four years, we are blessed with a one year old toddler, as well as our trio of dogs. I live in picturesque and rural Shropshire, not far from where I grew up.

I am semi fluent in Welsh and have been involved in politics and the BNP since my mid-teens; After all, with Nick Griffin as my dad, it was a natural step!

I started working for the BNP in 2009, and can honestly say that I find it both interesting and rewarding working in politics. That is why I'm proud to be standing as a candidate, because I care about the future that we're leaving for our children, and will work to make that a better future. So on election day, place your cross next to the British National Party heart - because you care too.

IAN DEAKIN - WEM: I’ve lived in and around Wem all my life and know my local community inside out. Getting out of the EU is a big issue for me and after a brief look at UKIP I joined the BNP - the only party with the guts and determination to act and a party which has a really strong grassroots membership base.

I've worked in Britain and abroad and I've seen alot in my time. I'd like to think that my life experiences have contributed to the opinions that I have formed and I have certainly done some serious thinking about what political party I support these days. It's no use complaining; we must act! Our country is in a sorry state but I know we can turn it back around. At my time of life I wouldn't be contesting elections if I didn't think it was worth while. I'm still up for the fight and I hope my fellow Brits are too.

ANGUS MATTHYS - OSWESTRY EAST: I married Jennifer 4 years ago and last year we welcomed our little boy into the world; there's no nicer feeling than walking in the countryside with our three dogs while listening to him chatter away to us!

I grew up in a small village not far from Aberystwyth, and although always interested in politics, I didn't get actively involved until after I had met Jennifer.

I started working for the BNP in 2009 and although the hours are long, I can honestly say that I find it both exciting and rewarding working in politics. That is why I'm proud to be standing as a candidate, because I care about the future that we're leaving for our children, and I will work hard to make that a better future. So on election day, place your cross next to the British National Party heart - because you care too.

KARL FOULKES - SUNDORNE: I’m a Shropshire lad born and bred and I’ve been contesting elections for the BNP for quite some time. I am a married family man with children and a grandchild and people often ask me how I manage to squeeze in political activity between work and a busy family life. The simple truth is that I find time for the BNP because I must. No other political party cares so much for the traditional family unit and it amazes me that it has actually become politically incorrect to talk about traditional family values!

While some people seem to have given up on Britain and her people, I am as steadfast as ever in my belief that the wheel will turn full circle and the British spirit community spirit will be rekindled once again.

I want people to lend their vote to the BNP in hope for the future and in defiance of the out of touch politicians who have led this country to financial ruin and disenfranchised a whole generation of young people in the process. I’m never, ever giving in and I know we can motivate the electorate towards an honest, wholesome political revolution.

Mosque Victory... For Now

BNP Victory Against Oswestry Mosque Proposal

Great news today as the Shropshire Star reports here that the plan for a 'Muslim Prayer Centre' in Oswestry has now been dropped.

But north Shropshire organiser Phil Reddall this afternoon spoke of his suspicion regarding the announcement.

"With elections looming and the BNP's north Shropshire group poised to stand more candidates than ever before, this headline could well be a ploy to divert the attention of voters away from the highly controversial mosque issue.

"I would not be at all surprised if a new planning application from Oswestry Muslim Society appears after the elections have passed," Mr Reddall continued.

Shropshire Patriot believes that had it not been for the BNP's campaign to raise awareness of this plan, Oswestry would by now be the first north Shropshire town to have its own mosque.

In truth, it is only a matter of time before Islam rears its head again in Shropshire and until our local Council chambers are filled with honest patriots, our County will continue to change in ways not beneficial to the British way of life.

Opposing the Islamification of our country is only one aspect of British National Party policy. Radical alterations to the banking system is another major point we contend with, along with a day by day crusade to free the minds of our people and get them thinking once again.

An Open Letter To Enquirers

Nationalists Working Together

In the eyes of the media and the mainstream politicians, the BNP’s policies are seen as ‘extreme’, but this is not the case. What is extreme is what is being done to Britain and her people by those who are running Britain today.

In Wellington, Shropshire, young teenage white girls have been molested and abused over a long period of time by Muslim gangs. Action was only taken to arrest and prosecute some of the perpetrators when the BNP relentlessly leafleted and protested, telling the local people exactly what was going on. What was allowed to happen for so long is extreme.

Huge areas of our towns and cities do not have a single white person living in them. Small numbers of socially integrated immigrants is fine, but the total replacement of an indigenous people is extreme.

Nationally, our government gives away billions of pounds in foreign aid while pensioners freeze to death because they can’t afford to heat their homes. This is extreme.

Our government have dropped bombs onto innocent Muslims in the Middle East while at the same time Muslims have been imported into Britain. This creates a terrorist threat and it is extreme.

Our government allows global banksters to control our economy. The interest alone is killing Britain and only the BNP would take back control of our banking system. In fact this is one of the real reasons why the powers that be hate the BNP.

The establishment rules by creating chaos and division in our society. They care about money and power and nothing else. What kind of establishment calls the BNP 'racist' yet drops bombs on Iraqi schools? Mainstream politicians are psychopaths who care for nothing other than fulfilling their greedy ambitions.

The BNP wants to bring back social order and a return to a traditional moral code that has worked in western society for thousands of generations.

I could go on and on, but our message to you is clear and simple; in this modern world everything has been turned upside down. What was once good and wholesome is now regarded as evil, and vice-versa. The BNP and our nationalist morals are hated by a twisted, evil establishment and are attacked at every opportunity by twisted media corporations. But it is we who are the genuine ‘good guys’ and we are never giving in.

I won’t beat around the bush. Ideally we’d like you to join the British National Party and we’d like you to be an active member of our Shropshire Branch. That may be too much for you... or perhaps it’s exactly what you’ve been planning on doing. But whatever you do decide to do, keep in touch. We are not 'salesmen' who want you join the BNP so we can merely hit targets and take your money. We’d like you to to join our Party so you can help us put our country back on track and provide a bright future for our children.

It’s not an easy task but it is worthwhile. We can and do make a difference and one day we will be in a position to right many wrongs.

PS – Don’t forget to vote BNP on Thursday 2nd May... and encourage others to do so too.

To find out more, this website called 'about my vote' explains everything you need to know and to find out more about elections in Shropshire, see this article from the Shropshire Council website.

Remember, no one can find out who you voted for. It is anonymous. All you have to do in order to vent your frustration with the so-called 'mainstream' political parties is walk into your local Polling Station on Thursday 2nd May between 7am and 10pm and use the pen or pencil provided to put a 'X' next to your British National Party candidate, then fold up your voting paper and put it in the sealed metal box.

It's as easy as that.

Even if you lose your Polling Card, just take some ID into the Polling Station so the official can cross your name of the list, then cast your vote.

No one will know who you voted for.

Any questions can be answered via this blog - just put your anonymous question in the comments section under this article on our blog: http://shropshirepatriot.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/county-council-elections-how-to-vote.html

Aaron Dugmore

Aaron Dugmore
Aaron Dugmore

Shropshire Patriot is extremely saddened to hear of the suicide of poor 9 year old Aaron Dugmore, the young lad who was bullied to death by racist Asian bullies at his school in Erdington, Birmingham, just for being white. In fact we are saddened to the point of tears.

Aaron had apparently told his parents he had been threatened with a plastic knife and allegedly told by the older Asian boy, "Next time it will be a real one".

No one can know what horror this poor young lad was going through.

It is well known that schools usually have a zero tolerance for racism and local Councillors and police are quick to act if a black or Pakistani child says they are suffering from racist bullying.

The most sickening thing in this case is how the head teacher Martyn Collins reportedly refused to act when the parents raised their desperate concerns to him.

Headteacher Martyn Collins

The British National Party are calling for the sacking of the Martyn Collins and will not let this outrage be pushed under the carpet.

Do not allow this crime to be ignored. Write to Chair of Governors for the school and demand the sacking of Martyn Collins.

Council called 'political cowards' over Muslim Centre approval

From the Border Counties Advertizer here.

Published date: 19 February 2013 |
Published by: Emily Davies

SHROPSHIRE Council was accused of “political cowardice” by the British National Party last week, as the furore surrounding Oswestry’s first Muslim Centre continues.

Claiming the unitary authority was guilty of maladministration, Phil Reddall, a member of the far-right organisation, said councillors have a ‘moral case to answer’ following the handling of the application to change the use the former Presbyterian Church on Oswald Road.

He believes they should have made the decision after it received nearly 60 letters of complaint. Planning permission was granted by planning officers.

In a letter calling for an appeal decided by councillors, Mr Reddall said: “Given that the application received 103 public comments with the majority of these comments being objections, I firmly insist that the council should have made an electorally accountable decision. In fact, the council have acted with political cowardice and with no regard for public sentiment.”

Mr Reddall, BNP’s North Shropshire organiser, led a video and leaflet campaign against the application which was submitted by the Oswestry Muslim Society in November.

His letter said: “I believe that they have acted without due consideration to the views of the local electorate and as such the council have a moral case to answer.”

He called for future applications of a religious nature to be decided by councillors.

A spokesperson for the council said: “The decision was taken as required by the planning legislation having regard to the policies in the development plan, the National Planning Policy Framework and any other material planning considerations.

In accordance with the Council’s scheme of delegation this application was delegated to officers for consideration.”

BNP Demand Planning Decision is Taken By Councillors

A complaint as to why a planning application to convert a former church into a Muslim prayer centre did not go before a committee of councillors has been lodged by the British National Party's north Shropshire organiser.

Raising Awareness of Plans in December 2012

The Shropshire Star reports here that the decision was approved by council officers under delegated powers.

Below is the complaint emailed to Shropshire County Council.

Dear Sir / Madam

I would like to make a complaint as to how the planning application 12/04730/FUL (change of use from Furniture Store, previously Presbyterian Church, to Oswestry Muslim Centre) has been dealt with by Shropshire County Council.

I believe the Council have acted with maladministration regarding their decision to allow Planning Officers to deal with this case rather than deal with the application as a Council at a Public Meeting.

I understand that in passing this case to the Planning Department the Council have acted in accordance with their own regulations, however I believe that they have acted without due consideration to the views of the local electorate and as such the Council have a moral case to answer.

Based on pure aesthetics, the application 12/04730/FUL is relatively straightforward and the Council would have expected that it would be passed by Planning Officers.

However, this application will change the cultural landscape of Oswestry and the Council had a moral duty to make this decision in order to ensure they are fully accountable to the electorate.

...Your goal is not only to convince the councillors that you have a case in planning terms, but to demonstrate the support your case has in the local community. Planning officers are mainly interested in the planning arguments, but councillors will often give weight to wider views. Planning is not a science and councillors may judge the issues differently from officers.

Given that the application 12/04730/FUL received 103 Public comments with the majority of these comments being objections, I firmly insist that the Council should have made an electorally accountable decision. In fact, the Council have acted with political cowardice and with no regard for Public sentiment.

I believe the application12/04730/FUL is of major cultural significance to the local community and whether a local resident is strongly in favour or strongly objects to the application’s approval, it is now technically impossible for a local resident to vote for or against a councillor or councillors regarding their views on this application as the decision was passed to an unelected body.

My complaint raises a significant moral argument and it is imperative that elected councillors take full responsibility for major applications such as this.

I would like to make it clear that my complaint lies with the elected councillors who chose not to deal with this issue. The planning team are not to blame as they are bound by regulations while councillors must deal with Public sentiment. I believe the Council fully understands the wider implications regarding the approval of this application and their motive for not deciding upon the application as a Council is to render themselves immune from any Public backlash via the ballot box.

In matters such as this, electoral accountability is paramount. Therefore in order to resolve this issue I would like the following action to be taken:

1. To appeal the decision made by the Planning Department and get the application re-heard by Councillors at a Public Meeting.

2. To ensure that any further applications regarding change of use of a religious nature are henceforth decided by the Council at a Public Meeting.

3. Point (2) must be included in the Council’s Constitution to ensure all similar applications are in future decided upon by the Council rather than an unelected body, i.e. the Planning Department.

I feel I speak for a significant number of the 'silent majority' who desperately crave proper electoral accountability for decisions that affect their communities yet feel so disenfranchised with politics they do not consider it worthwhile to be a part of the political system. When an elected body shies away from important decision making, in situations such as application 12/04730/FUL, the disillusionment of the 'silent majority' will increase.

I have read and understood the complaints procedure and look forward to a satisfactory outcome. I would appreciate a reply that includes details of who to contact next if I deem the Council’s reply to be unsatisfactory.

Yours sincerely
Mr P Reddall

The Battle for Oswald Road

The Border Counties Advertizer have reported again on Oswestry Muslim Society's plans to convert a former church in Oswald Road into a 'Muslim Prayer Centre', which we in the British National Party tend to call a 'mosque'.

Public comments continue to roll in for the Oswestry Muslim Society proposal to transform the former Presbyterian Church on Oswald Road, hitting the 100-mark last week, as the £300,000 scheme divides the local community.

Currently 59 objections have been received by Shropshire Council, with 40 in favour, and one neutral comment.

A planning decision for the building, which currently houses an antique and reproduction furniture business, had been expected by January 11.

The recent spike in objections follows a targeted campaign by the British National Party, despite receiving considerable public support in the early stages.

The full story can be read here and includes an excellent quote from a gentleman who objects to the plans.

But is it any wonder that mosques are cropping up all over Britain? After all, it was David Cameron who said, 'Not for the first time, I found myself thinking that it is mainstream Britain which needs to integrate more with the British Asian way of life, not the other way around.' in an article written for the Observer way back in 2007 which can be read here. We are sure there are many Oriental folk who are confused at Cameron's turn of phrase, but we presume that in this case by 'British Asian' he meant 'Muslim'.

So while the Tories pander to Muslims in order to get votes, Shropshire Branch of the BNP is standing firm for we believe Islam is not right for Britain and the problems it brings far outweigh any benefits.

Our message to local people thinking of objecting is this - stand firm in your beliefs and have the courage of your convictions.

Halal Chicken in Wem

A Halal chicken has been spotted recently in a Wem Co-Op prompting local people to ask themselves question, "Why is halal meat being sold here?"

To add insult to injury, loose Yorkshire tea had been removed from sale leading one gentleman to the startling conclusion that traditional tea-drinkers were being replaced by those with a taste for ritually slaughtered meat. Fortunately the tea was soon back in stock after a complaint was made, which leaves local patriots with something to drink while they mull over the question of an Islamic incursion into one of north Shropshire's most traditional market towns.

The following film of a non-UK Halal slaughterhouse may aid viewers with a concern for animal welfare to make a decision on why we allow the sale of ritually slaughtered chicken, beef or lamb in Britain.

The horrors begin at about 1min 30seconds.

Is the Islamic Conquest of Oswestry Being Orchestrated from Birmingham?

Information passed to Shropshire Patriot casts doubt on recent claims that plans to turn a former church in Oswestry into a Muslim prayer centre (aka mosque) is actually a locally instigated project at all.

Opposing Plans for Muslim Prayer Centre

According to business information website Duedil.com, Oswestry Muslim Society has its offices not in Oswestry, as one might expect, but in Birmingham.

The website shown here which lists companies for networking purposes states, 'Oswestry Muslim Centre was founded on 09 Oct 2012 and has its registered office in Birmingham. The organisation's status is active, and they have 4 associated directors - all of which are current. The company has no known group companies.'

Shropshire Patriot believes that the colonisation of Britain by Islam is a highly co-ordinated affair, and we think that claims by Muslim community leaders that the opening of new mosques are merely 'local initiatives' is an exercise in propaganda aimed at keeping our people in the dark until the force of Islam is powerful enough to take over our society.

But it doesn't necessarily begin in Birmingham. A few years ago £1.5 million was donated by Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar towards building a mosque in Blackburn after Jack Straw intervened on behalf of Lord Patel of Blackburn. Jack Straw was later accused by the local Lib-Dems of pandering to Muslims in order to win votes. You couldn't make it up and it just shows how corrupt the British political system has become when votes are 'brought' via the back door, so to speak. If the likes of Jack Straw think empowered Muslims will curry favour in the years to come then his sanity should be questioned. The politics of appeasement are rarely respected. The full Blackburn mosque story can be read here and a few Google searches with keywords such as 'mosque'; 'uk'; 'funding' etcetera will reveal many more similar stories regarding where the money for mosques in Britain comes from.

When questioned, moderate Muslim community leaders may deny that their aims are part of an Islamic struggle for dominance. However many who objectively study Islam will find that Muslims are permitted to lie to 'unbelievers' in order to advance their cause.

The 'Wikki Islam' link shown here may help readers to understand the Islamic concepts of Kitman and Taqqiya.

Further days of action in Oswestry are planned over the coming days. Our aims are to awaken our people into a state of political resistance and to use the ballot box to vent their anger. We want our country back from the traitor politicians.

Islam to Dominate Oswestry?

Radical Muslims on a Demo in London, October 2009

Regarding the Muslim Prayer Centre in Oswestry, the British National Party has had plenty of publicity; the latest being a local Border Counties Advertizer article which can be found here.

While obviously we are not happy with plans to introduce a Muslim Prayer Centre into Oswestry, in the long run it may help the nationalist Cause.

A clear divide has been opened up between Shropshire Council and the BNP and the electorate will now have no doubts that we stand alone in protecting British identity.

The Tory led Council appears to conserve nothing in terms of our heritage and culture and there is not a single voice from any Shropshire County councillor which expresses any doubt that the expansion of Islam in Oswestry is anything but good news.

Furthermore, it is an unfortunate fact of life that 'seeing is believing' and the BNP message will only be comprehended by way of a dose of reality.

A friend from Oswestry spoke to us some years ago about his time serving as a soldier in Bosnia and explained that even when the Muslim population was low in a particular area, Mosques would be erected as a symbol of power. We must remember that Islamic extremism is not what will bring Islam to power in Britain. Muslim leaders know that due to political appeasement, the quickest way to power for Islam in the UK is via birth rates and the ballot box. Gadaffi once said that Islam will conquer Europe through the wombs of their women. He was right unless something is done to alter this. One only has to look at the websites of councils where there is a large local Muslim presence - invariably many or all of the councillors are Muslim, controlling the local budget, deciding upon planning applications and so forth.

The fate of a people is decided by the majority population; when the majority population changes, the culture of that area changes. Why wait for a significant cultural shift before the British say 'enough'? It is not hatred that fuels our agenda but a perfectly natural desire to live our lives in a way that reflects our own ways, laws, traditions and beliefs.

An article in the Daily Mail last year which can be read here reports on Muslim birth rates in Britain and predicts that Britain will have more Muslims than Kuwait by 2030. A journalist once said that Muslim birth rates in Muslim countries were sometimes quite low. But of course in a country already controlled by Muslims, there is no need for Muslims to breed to excess. The practice of having many children is used purely to take over a nation.

The simple fact is that Shropshire County Councillors will eventually lose their seats to Muslims; it is just a matter of time unless the BNP gets elected in significant numbers first. That's right, Tory voters - it's BNP or Islam... feel free to wring your hands and have another cup of strong tea.

So to conclude, Shropshire Patriot is pleased with the publicity we've gained from this. The BNP stand alone in attempting to conserve British heritage and tradition in this small island we call home.

For those of you wanting to know why the BNP opposed the rise of Islam in Britain (and remember, the BNP has no wish to impose its views on Muslims who live outside the UK) the book 'The Sword of the Prophet' is recommended, and can be purchased from as little as 51p here

A Yuletide Story From Anglo Saxon History

From the British National Party website comes this historical account of a Saxon military action.

Merry Yule to all nationalists! As an alternative to the Nativity (since not every nationalist is Christian and the BNP is a non-confessional party) here is presented a reminder of an important part of our national narrative and origins.
This is an account of another tree and another “saviour”, a contemporary of Jesus.
This is a hero who saved the European peoples from an attempt to use ethnic diversity to make us into slaves, and who belonged to the tribe that are the direct ancestors of the English – the Cherusci.
Let us remember and revere Hermann, also known as “Irimin” or by his Roman name “Arminius”.
The tree so much revered by our Germanic ancestors was the Irminsul and it stood where Hermann and his army fought one of the most important and decisive battles for our people.
In the year 2009, the director James Cameron released the film “Avatar”.
This film came out on the 2000th Anniversary of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest and contains a number of references suggesting that the story in Avatar is a nod towards acknowledging the significance.
Briefly: a brave hero, warrior defects from the army he has been recruited into, and saves a people who worship a sacred tree of their ancestors.
These people with a great reverence for nature and their tree were targeted for destruction by a ruthless materialistic enemy.
HERMANN: A SAVIOUR OF THE WHITE RACE
2009 marked the two thousandth anniversary of Hermann’s battle for the
Germanic people. A 19th century monument of Hermann stands in the Teutoburg forest,
bullet-ridden by hate-filled American soldiers who were stationed
nearby after the end of WWII.
Hermann, 16BC - 21AD, was chief of the ancient Germanic Cherusci tribe.
While serving as a Roman army general (his Roman name was Arminius), as
part of his tribal contingent, Hermann benefited from the highly disciplined Roman military
training.
Stationed in Gaul, Hermann was shocked to learn the dreadful fact that
Roman legions from Gaul and western Germany would be sent to Rome, Africa
and Asia, while legions from Africa and Asia would be sent to Germany.
The Roman authorities knew well the effect on a population when they would lose their national character and be systematically diversified.
The thought of this fate was intolerable to Hermann, as he realized the
inevitable damage to his ancestral homeland and people that this would
cause. (The very term “German” comes from the Latin “germ” and “nus”, and
indicates a people whose ancestry is all the same race.)
Only if Rome were to be expelled from Germany, could this tragedy be averted. Hermann’s
decision to rebel against Rome is one of the most critically important
decisions ever made by anyone in history.
As historian Sir Edward Creasy points out, in his
“Decisive Battles of the World”, Hermann’s Cherusci tribe went on, from
their original 200,000 strong, to become the ancestors of the many
millions of Anglo-Saxon English speaking people of today.
Hermann’s family was divided, as were other families in his tribe, over
rebellion against the Romans.
Hermann was opposed by his brother,
brother-in-law, father, father-in-law and an uncle. Hermann’s brother,
also an officer in the Roman army, would not join Hermann, despite being
implored to in the name of his mother and their racial gods.
His brother
was angered and challenged Hermann to combat which, fortunately, was
prevented by others.
Hermann’s father-in-law, Segestes, was such a traitor to his tribe that he even gave Hermann’s pregnant wife - his own daughter -
to the Romans, to ingratiate himself with them. She and her golden haired son were
displayed, chained, in Rome in 17AD. Strabo, the Greek historian,
witnessed this.
Tacitus, Roman historian who wrote much about the character of the Germanic people, claimed that this outrage galvanized Hermann who let it be known to all Germanic tribes that their women and children were at risk of being taken by the Romans.
They would face becoming fodder for brothels, paedophiles and homosexuals. This would be in stark contrast to the pure morals of the Germanic people, who would rather die than be reduced to that.
Rome had given special favours to members of the leading families, and had
thus bought their loyalty, but Varus, the new Roman governor of Germany,
restricted these privileges.
Hermann noticed there was a growing unease as
a result of Varus further usurping the tribal chiefs’ power.
Hermann’s warriors were much bigger, sturdier men than the Romans, but the
Romans had the advantage of their armour and their disciplined manoeuvres.
There was a solution to this, and that was to lure the Romans into a
killing ground of the Germanics’ own choosing: the narrow defiles, muddy
tracks and gloomy forests of the Teutoburg would be ideal.
The
conditions within the forest only allowed for little more than single file
passage. Hermann planned to get Varus and his legions to march through the
forest, so that the enemy could easily be picked off.
Varus suspected none of this revolt, being reassured by the peaceful
appearance of the common people. Hermann’s own father-in-law, Segestes,
tried to warn Varus that things were not as they seemed and that the
German troops commanded by Hermann were planning to revolt, uniting with
the other tribal warriors. Varus would not believe him.
Once the Romans were in the forest, the baggage train and troops became
drawn out. Seeing that they were unable to deploy with their usual
discipline, the signal was given and the barbarian attack launched.
The
battle lasted for three days. No quarter was given, nor asked for. Three
legions were massacred to a man, near present day Detmold, Paderborn.
Around 35,000 enemies were killed, which included more than 17,000 Romans
and a similar number of camp followers and auxiliaries, including
mercenaries and Jewish slave traders.
Skulls and entrails were fixed to
trees to increase the terror felt by the enemy. This practice of hanging
such trophies from trees can be seen as the origin of the Germanic
tradition of offering sacrifices to trees.
This race memory continued to
be represented on Viking renditions of the sacred tree at Upsalla up until
the end of the heathen times.
The tradition is a gruesome parallel with the present innocuous hanging of decorations on Yule trees – although some might prefer to consider that a coincidence.
After the battle, the victorious Teutons pledged forever to maintain their
race and liberty. That night, the forests were full with their war cries.
On the battle site, a great oak tree grew: Irminsul.
This sacred tree
was venerated for hundreds of years and, even during the First World War, German officers
were reputed still to have made offerings to oak trees.
The head of Varus was sent as a present to Marbod, another German chief,
in order to encourage his forces to unite with Hermann’s in
attacking Rome.
The plan failed, as Marbod was a cunning schemer who felt
that he would benefit by having Rome fight Hermann’s tribe, thus weakening
both and possibly allowing him to take over.
However, Augustus Caesar expected the German tribes would indeed unite and
that the Empire would be invaded.
He forced slaves and freemen of war age
into the Roman army. Augustus Caesar was emotionally devastated by the defeat
of Varus and his legions.
Until Augustus’ end, he mourned on the
anniversary of this disaster to Rome.
When it was discovered that Marbod was not going to join forces with
Herman after all, Imperial Rome attempted revenge and re-conquest.
The
war against Hermann failed, after six years of battle. Desperate not to
lose face, the Roman commanders said that they were withdrawing because
they had pacified the area.
In fact, only tribes west of the Rheine were
subjugated. The Anglo-Saxons were left well alone behind their 100 mile
death zone, where any outsiders who entered would be killed immediately.
Rome never raised significant troops from Africa and Asia again
(considering them of inferior quality) and henceforth 95% of recruits into the
legions were from the Rhineland, Gaul, Belgium, Britannia and Holland.
Four hundred years later came the Anglo-Saxon migration from Germany to
Britain, forming the ethnic English nation.
History would have taken a very different direction had Hermann not
succeeded in preventing the Romans from reaching the Baltic.
With the
help of Roman-controlled German warriors, even Scandinavia could have been conquered and subjected to inevitable mongrelization.
As other Germanic tribes realised that their race and their liberty had
been rescued by Hermann, their reverence for him grew. Becoming
like a religious worship, the memory of Hermann was sacred, and lasted for
centuries, as well it deserved.
The Irminsul, the great oak named after Hermann, was very important to these Teutons. Because of this, after hundreds of years standing, the tree was targeted by Charlemagne in 772
AD.
He had Irminsul, also known as the Tree of Thor, cut down in his attempt to snuff out paganism. This desecration initiated the Viking racial holy war, lasting for 200 years.
It was this thirst for vengeance that made the Vikings so keen to raid
Christian nations, burn churches and plunder.
As the Germanics declared
upon the destruction of Irminsul: You can kill us all, but then you will
have to answer to our cousins across the Baltic and they are fiercer than
us.
From an Earthly point of view, Hermann is far more worthy of the honour of our people than other religious figures currently worshiped.
Effectively, he is the father of our people, without whom there would have been no European civilization in America, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
Indeed, without Hermann’s timely intervention, there might now be no White race at all.
Let us honour and revere Hermann as a shining example of how one man can
make a huge difference in the struggle to protect their racial heritage
and future progeny.
The anniversary of Hermann’s revolt passed silently, as we live in an alien culture where true history is hidden for religious and ideological reasons. Let us hope that Hermann will inspire a new revolt of sorts, against materialism and universalism.
We should remember his legacy, summed up in the Icelandic term for those ancient Germanics:
“thodthverdthur”, “the people’s defenders”.

Muslim in Wellington Jailed for Using Flat as Brothel

A 60-year-old Muslim man residing in Wellington, Shropshire was jailed on Friday for allowing his flat to be used as a brothel and allowing a man to have sex with a girl who was being controlled as a prostitute.

Mohammed Younis was said to have been at the flat in Kingsland, Arleston, when the 16-year-old was paid £50 by her customer.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court today Younis was jailed for two and a half years after admitting a charge of facilitating child prostitution four years ago.

As Younis had been on a monitored tag while on bail and had spent time on remand, he was set to be released almost immediately.

Younis, who now lives in Birmingham, was also banned from working with children for life.

An allegation of conspiring with another man to facilitate child prostitution will lie on file.

Mr Simon Davies, defending, said Younis’s marriage had failed.

Oswestry Day of Action

Local activists were joined in Oswestry today by other British National Party members and supporters in a day of action aimed at raising awareness of the BNP's opposition to the advance of Islam in the town.

Two teams of activists set out to deliver leaflets and Voice of Freedom newspapers, with team A returning first having reportedly used up almost 2,000 leaflets in under three hours.

One of Our Leafleting Teams

North Shropshire organiser Phil Reddall told Shropshire Patriot that Oswestry Muslim Society's proposed plans to convert an old church into a Muslim prayer centre was a stepping stone towards the town having its first mosque.

"Muslim centres such as this act as a power base, a beacon of light, to Muslims and Shropshire Council must wake up to the fact that Britain is sleepwalking towards Islamification.

"Muslims are allowed to lie to 'non-believers' in order to get what they want. It says so in the Qu'ran. One minute they're talking about having tea and biscuits and holding inter-faith coffee mornings, the next thing you know they've taken local council seats and are asserting their dominance while the political establishment and the police are fearful to act if crimes are committed by Muslims.

"Local councillors are playing a dangerous game of appeasement. We know we cannot wake up our elected officials, however, so we're taking to the streets instead to attempt to help the public understand this issue.

"The BNP is the only political party to oppose the Islamification of Britain. Muslims can do what they want in their own countries and a BNP government would have never bombed Iraq or invaded Afghanistan, but we won't stand by while ordinary people are duped by the media into thinking Islam is good for Britain. Muslims in Britain won't rest until they have asserted full control, and we don't want that to happen."

Shropshire branch have produced the short film (above) in order to better explain why the BNP is opposed to Islam. The film has some shocking scenes of halal slaughter which makes us wonder if the RSPCA are acting to halt these barbaric practices.
