OBITUARY - Wendy Slark:   It's with deep sadness that we've learned that our friend and fellow nationalist, Wendy Slark passed away during the weekend. Although Wendy had been very ill for quite some time, she always remained her good natured and good humoured self to the end.
We first became aware of Wendy a number of years ago through her excellent letters to the Shropshire Star - where she made her very public conversion from a lifelong Conservative supporter to a BNP nationalist. After sending a personal letter of congratulations and support to Wendy, we struck up a good friendship that lasted ever since.
Although a prolific letter writer, Wendy was never one for the limelight and preferred to support from the background. This isn't to say that her support was any less important or appreciated. She was there with us in the early days when we first became active and she continued to support us throughout the growth of the Shrewsbury BNP group. She was as kind as she was dedicated - and made generous donations to the party both locally and nationally. A lover of nature and the Shropshire countryside, Wendy was a true nationalist on every level especially a spiritual one. Wendy was a one-off and real character. - We will sorely miss her loyal support and great friendship.
