"Too often today, people are ready to tell us,
'this is not possible; that is not possible'.
I say, whatever the true interest of our country calls for, is always possible!"

- Enoch Powell.

Remembrance Sunday Parade Market Drayton

Parade - Market Drayton High Street

Cenotaph - Market Drayton
Market Drayton Royal British Legion did their usual excellent job of organising this year's parade, which was very well attended.

North Shropshire British National Party organiser cllr Phil Reddall was in attendance on behalf of the North Shropshire BNP group.

Speaking today, cllr Reddall said, "My great grandfather went down with his ship in the First World War, and my late grandfather was injured in the Second World War. What they went through is unimaginable to most of us, but I am determined to help ensure that Britain remains free, for they would be turning in their graves if they could see what is happening to the country they fought so hard to defend."

North Shropshire British National Party is sad to hear of another casualty of the war in Afghanistan; a Royal Irish Regiment serviceman (based locally at Tern Hill barracks) was killed on Remembrance Sunday while on patrol in Helmand province. We offer our sincere condolences.
