North Shropshire British National Party is extremely concerned with what many residents of Wem regard as a significant local health issue - severe enough for one doctor to suggest that local authorities create an evacuation plan.
Heath campaigner Dr. Dick Van Steenis believes that residents of Wem should have been evacuated during a major incident in July when up to thirty tonnes of rubber caught fire, releasing toxins such as Zinc into the atmosphere.
Wem Town council heard at a meeting in July how some residents felt unwell after the incident, however a number of residents have complained to the British National Party that months have passed yet not enough is being done by Shropshire County Council to address the issues they have.
Although Shropshire County Council made a statement saying that the health and safety of residents was of primary concern, North Shropshire British National Party does not believe enough is being done to address the ongoing issue residents have, and encourages local people to step up their campaign and contact their North Shropshire branch of the British National Party should they feel the local authorities are not doing enough.
The British National Party has a motto of 'Land and People' and has a deep concern for the well being of local people and the environment.
Another situation where the authorities pass the buck or /and bury their heads in the sand with total disregard for the health and well being of the people.
ReplyDeleteWell done North Shropshire BNP for the iniative shown and for the caring way shown to residents.
The BNP is the real 'Geeen' party - unlike that liberal-marxist outfit that claims to be.
